Privacy Policy

      Summary: Wardflow collects only the minimum data needed to help ward bishoprics manage their responsibilities. We do not sell your data, do not run ads, and do not share your information with third parties beyond what is needed to operate the service.
    

1. Who We Are

Wardflow ("we", "our", "us") is a ward management tool designed for bishoprics of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This policy applies to the Wardflow mobile application (iOS) and the associated web application.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account Information

Name and email address (provided via Google Sign-In)
Profile photo URL (from your Google account)
Organization membership and role within the bishopric

Ward Management Data

Calling records (member names, calling positions, status)
Interview and meeting schedules (names, dates, times, notes)
Sacrament meeting agendas (speakers, hymns, conducting assignments)
Task and assignment lists
Ward member names (as entered by bishopric users)

Technical Data

Device type and operating system version
App version
Crash logs and error reports (collected automatically by the platform)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide and operate the bishopric management service
Authenticate your identity and manage access to your ward's data
Sync data between devices in real time
Improve app stability and fix bugs

4. Data Storage and Security

All data is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), hosted in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to ward data is restricted to authenticated users who have been granted access to that specific ward organization by an administrator.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:

Google Firebase / Google Cloud Platform — for data storage, authentication, and hosting infrastructure
Other members of your bishopric — ward data is shared among users who belong to the same organization within the app

We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.

6. Sensitive Information

Some data within the app may be marked as "private" (such as certain interviews). Private data is only visible to users with the bishop or clerk role within the organization. We take extra care to ensure this data is properly access-controlled.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and your organization uses the service. If you wish to have your data deleted, contact us and we will remove your account and associated data within 30 days.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and data
Withdraw from the service at any time

9. Children's Privacy

Wardflow is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us so we can remove it.

10. Third-Party Authentication

We use Google Sign-In for authentication. When you sign in, Google shares your name, email address, and profile photo with us in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store your Google password.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
